Reading OwnACasino leaves a small trail of personal data. This policy follows that trail from start to finish: what is created, why, who else handles it, and how you can shut it down. It applies to ownacasino.co.uk only.
The controller
Wavequarry Networks B.V., Dr. M.J. Hugenholtzweg 25, Willemstad, Curaçao, decides how personal data on OwnACasino is handled and is answerable for it under data protection law. Write to [email protected] with any request or complaint.
Server logs and Cloudflare
Your browser announces a handful of technical facts with every request: IP address, timestamp, the address it wants, the page it came from, and its own make and operating system. Our web server notes these in access logs. We read the logs to chase down errors and to shut out abusive traffic, relying on Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR — a genuine interest in a site that stays up and stays safe.
Pages travel to you through Cloudflare, which handles delivery and filters attacks. It processes those same connection details on our instructions.
Four cookies, no trackers
We do not run any analytics service or advertising tag from another company. What the site does set are four cookies of its own — two on any page, two more only after a click towards a casino:
- mz_vid — any page, lives 12 months. A random tag for this browser so that visits can be counted and a partner-link click can be matched to us.
- mz_src — any page, lives 30 days. Records the route in: typed address, search result or link from elsewhere.
- mozbiz_session — only after a /go/ link, lives roughly 20 hours. Holds the hand-off session while you are sent on to the casino.
- XSRF-TOKEN — only after a /go/ link, lives roughly 20 hours. Guards that same redirect against forged requests.
Refuse or wipe them whenever you like. Every article still loads in full; the only loss is that a sign-up can no longer be traced to OwnACasino.
Mail to the desk
Emailing us gives us your address, the name under your message and whatever you wrote. That is used to answer you. No newsletter, no list, no passing it on.
Clicking through to a casino
Casino links route through /go/ addresses on this domain. The operator is told the visitor arrived from OwnACasino, so that any registration counts towards our referral. After the hand-off, the operator’s privacy notice is the one in charge. Your casino login, ID scans and card details never reach us.
How long things last
Logs are cleared once they have no further use for diagnosing faults or defending the site. Emails go when the conversation is finished, unless a legal duty says they must stay. Cookies run out on the schedule above or sooner once you delete them.
What you can demand
UK GDPR — or EU GDPR if you are based in the European Union — lets you find out what the desk keeps on you and to get it fixed, deleted, frozen or exported in a machine-readable file. You may also object to processing that rests on our interests. One email starts any of this, and the answer comes inside a month. Should that answer not satisfy you, the UK regulator is the ICO: Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, ico.org.uk.
Minors and new versions
Nothing on OwnACasino is meant for under-18s, and data about them is never sought on purpose; anything that turns up is erased. A new service or a retired cookie means a fresh version of this page, with a new date beside the heading.
